Pre and Postnatal Yoga & Groups

All Pre & Postnatal classes are drop-in. We also offer private sessions. Our yoga classes start in October but if you have a group of pregnant mamas or moms with babies, email us and we can start before October.

PRENATAL YOGA: The changing female body and mind is honored and guided through a fluid practice that develops strength and energy, while also allowing you to deeply relax. Practicing yoga during pregnancy brings better sleep and digestion, connection to your developing baby, and wisdom for labor and birth. Yoga can alleviate common discomforts felt during pregnancy such as backache, leg cramps, varicosities, swelling, and stiff muscles. The class is a mix of yoga and mat pilates – the women in the group guide the pace and flow. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

POSTNATAL YOGA: postpartum women can join the prenatal yoga classes or the mom & baby classes.

MOM & BABY YOGA: a mix of movement, music, laughter and relaxation for moms and babies 6 weeks – crawling.  The mood of the babies and needs/desires of moms guide this class from more mom focused or a balance of mom & baby.  Movement is a blend of yoga and mat pilates.  Moms have the chance to connect with baby and other moms, rebuild their core and pelvic floor, remind their body of proper alignment while holding baby, and find release from the demands of early motherhood. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

**Babies change our schedules (even when they’re in bellies), so please come to class any time, and do not worry about being late – we welcome you whenever you can arrive.

**Anything goes in our Mom & Baby classes – nursing, bottle feeding, changing diapers, spit up, etc – it’s all part of it and moms are in this together.

PARENT COLLECTIVE: We are happy to partner with the Parent Collective and host their childbirth education classes and postpartum support groups. Our first support groups for moms and babies is:
